Day 55: Everything Continues to Suck

It has been 55 days since the heroes disappeared. And more reports still keep pouring in about missing meta-humans. It seems like anyone who has ever done any good at all has disappeared. Its quite frankly disparaging. From my window I can look down the street and see the fires that light Mayhem each night. God I used to go to a game shop right on Mayfield's main drag. Now even if the cops would let me by I doubt its still a game shop. Ever since the metas left the gangs have been out in force. Between the Skazzers getting their hands on Milspec Salazar tech that someone looted from the destroyed SWAT HQ and Don Mento's creepy silent made men with their psychic connection to the the boss, I'm amazed neither group has managed to gain enough of a foothold to claim Mayhem as theirs. In fact that's the weirdest part of the entire thing. NOBODY, not a single one of the meta-empowered assholes that remains here in Helcoast has tried anything too big. Its like they think General Omega and the Intergrator are hiding in a trashcan somewhere. BULLSHIT. Their gone and we just have to deal with it. I don't care what Mercurial keeps saying.
